Welcome to Strathglass Heritage Association
The Association was established in 2001 and is managed by a small group of local people who are committed to work with their local community to promote heritage in its widest sense. We curently are in the process of creating a programme of events and activities that we hope will promote all our local heritage has to offer. This will include: seasonal walks, exhibitions, talks and social events throughout the year. We will be working with individual members of the community – adults and children alike – and also other local interest groups and national organisations.
The aims of the Association are to research, record and preserve all or any aspects of the cultural, natural, archaeological and architectural heritage of Strathglass. The Association aims to make such aspects of the heritage known to the public and in particular to the residents of Strathglass, and to encourage public and local interest in the heritage of Strathglass. We are very fortunate to be in an area with a very rich heritage and membership of the Association is open to any persons interested in the heritage of Strathglass and willing to further the aims of the Association.
