Interpretation panel for Comar Wood Dun
The long awaited interpretation panel has now been installed at Comar Wood Dun by FLS staff. It gives some clarity for vistors as to what they are actually looking as parts of the structure are quite overgrown. We are pressing FLS for the removal of heathers, small conifers and a variety of small shrubs from the interior of the dun and also from the small structures that had been added at a later period.
Committee
Following a very well attended AGM the current committee was re-elected with the addition of Maeve Ryan. Maeve will replace Marjorie as scretary and a new chairman appointed at the forthcoming committee meeting to be held on Tuesday 8th October.
