Last Talk of the Season
We welcome back James McComas from NOSAS to update us on the excavations at Tarradale.
Exhibition Well Received
Many thanks to Beauly Bowling Club for hosting the exhibition and to Derek for organising the event. Very well attended by the public and some more really nice comments in the visitor’s book. Thanks also to those who helped out on the day and assisted with transporting all the material.
Heading to Beauly
Our very well received Strathglass Clearances Exhibition is headed to Beauly shortly. It will be on display Friday 13th – Sunday 15th October at Beauly Bowling Club from 11am – 4pm each day.
Everyone is welcome and there is no charge.
Secrets of the Forest
Yesterday we had a very enjoyable walk, as part of the Highland Archaeology Festival, to Lower Guisachan to visit three heritage sites: an illicit still, an old lime kiln and Achblair a township cleared by Lord Tweedmouth in the late 1860s.
We had a very good turnout and excellent weather so hopefully everyone enjoyed the day and picked up some interesting information.
