Secrets of the Forest

Yesterday we had a very enjoyable walk, as part of the Highland Archaeology Festival, to Lower Guisachan to visit three heritage sites: an illicit still, an old lime kiln and Achblair a township cleared by Lord Tweedmouth in the late 1860s.

We had a very good turnout and excellent weather so hopefully everyone enjoyed the day and picked up some interesting information.
